" In July of this year I set off on a 9000 mile trek across country, up the west coast and back home to Quebec again. Putting 12 to 14 hour days on my electra glide ultra anniversary were great fun until the bike got noisy just outside of Tulsa. I did'nt thinkl much about it as I was tired and I'd deal with it in the morning. Well, morning came and my normal 80 mph was louder than my radio could drown out. Long story short, I thought it was going to blow. I made it to Ok city and was ready to stop at the local dealer but it was suggested I go to Moore if I could make it. Thanks for the suggestion!! I made it into the dealership and the service tech immediately came to check it out. He agreed it needed attention and within minutes the mechanic had it in and was doing the exact diagnosis process I would have and when He got to the cam chest, we got our answer, the bearings had dumped metal everywhere, the only question was how far was everywhere? Fortunately, the crank was spared and the treatment I received turned a bad twist into a very positive experience. The service and parts department were incredible. They were professional, made the upgrades I wanted and figured out ways to save me money on the final bill. Amazing!!! Beleive it or not, they had me back on the road within 8 hours of when I reached the dealership in the morning. Thank you so much, Fort Thunder crew. I was able to continue my trip, without incident and have a much-improved cam set-up now. I often travel to Texas and will be sure to stop in for a visit when I cross into Ok. "

The problem turned out to be very minor. However, while the bike was there, I had your service team add a Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather. I have been involved in customer relations throughout my career and know the importance of having good customer service vs. an order taker that is just there for a paycheck and waiting for the time to go home. "I bought a 2011 Street Glide in April. I enjoyed the experience me and my family recieved there. We were there late in the day for me to check out the bike I was interested in and everyone stayed after hours in order to get the paperwork done when we decided to buy. "I was quoted a price over the phone for a tire change for my RK Classic that didn't include the rim band and tube. When I got the final bill for the tire change I was upset about the extra cost. I guess it was my mistake for assuming the guy on the other end of the phone knew I had tubed tires. Jesse the service manager took care of me and turned my experience into a more positive one. The service dept did take my bike in at the scheduled time and had it done when they said it would be. So overall it was a good experience. "

"5/28/2011 - Brought my bike in for service on the front wheel - it was making noise. The service dept let me bring it in friday evening since I was already in the city and not make me wait till Sat morning for my 8am appt. Mitch was MOST helpful and extremely courteous. He took my cell number and told he he would call sat morn when they finished - I got my call about 9am. They completed the check and found nothing wrong - HOWEVER, they went above and beyond and checked the entire front end while the bike was there - they found several items that needed attention and corrected them. They could have very well left the bike alone after finding nothing wrong but they didnt. Its this kind of EXCELLENCE that will keep me making the drive from Lawton to Moore for all my Harley Service needs. Thank you Mitch and Thank you Fort Thunder! "I came in to get a new set of tires put on my Ultra Classic and was taken care of by Jesse in the Service Dept. The entire transaction was smooth and the entire Service Dept staff was curteous and professional. What set this trip over the top though was when I got home and started looking at my receipt a little closer I discovered that I had only been given a discount for one tire and not both. Additionally I had not been given the discount I received through one of your web blasts for the labor. I called the next day expecting to get a hard time but instead was treated like a first class customer. Jeremiah went way above and beyond by straighteneing out the problem with my transaction in a timely and professional manner. It only got better from there though. Much to my surprise, when I got my mail on the very next Monday (the transaction happened on Saturday) there was an envelope from Ft Thunder that contained my new receipt and a hand written note from Jeremiah thanking me for allowing him to fix the mistake. This is by far the best customer service I have ever experienced by any merchane I have had dealings with. Needless to say I now have a new service department to take care of one of most prized possessions. Why would I go to another dealer when I can get service like this at Ft Thunder. "Just wanted to send a quick thank you to your staff at Ft. Thunder H-D. I recently stopped in for the first time on my way to Ft. Worth from Enid. I normally would stop by XXXX when I was in OKC for parts/clothes, but just last week I had a bad experience in that store after making a special trip down from Enid after work for some parts. So I figured I'd stop by your place on the way through for a few parts and looking around. It was one of the best experiences I've had at a dealership in the 15 years I've been riding Harleys. I had my wife and daughter with me, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted, and you girls in the clothes department took care of my wife while your people in the parts department helped me find everything I needed and a little more. My wife said that for the first time she felt welcomed in a dealership, and had some knowledgeable "girls" to ask questions to and not feel dumb for asking them. She was also told about a garage night for girls that she is pretty excited about I guess. Anyways, it turned out to be a great visit and I guess we found our new "OKC dealership" when we are down that way. "

"As you know pulling the "trigger" to buy a Harley is not an easy squeeze. I was in the store for about two weeks looking at differrent bikes. I was on the fence about which one but Miles and Candi after talking to me several times got to know what I liked. They showed me a bike they had just got in and it was the exact bike I was looking for. They then worked up paperwork for a third time and the deal was GREAT!!!. They helped me with the additional add ons I wanted to make the bike 'MINE'. I can't tell you how much every one in the store helped to make decisions from the parts to apparel. " Friendliest service I have experienced. Love the fact that the bike is washed when you service it. I have 3.5 miles of gravel road to and from my home and my bike is always dusty. I really appreciate the wash. Very comfortable waiting area. Some places have no area to sit. Would recommend that you put a catalog(s) of the bikes Harley offers and a parts catalog(s) so customers waiting can see if there is something they can't live without. Parts and accessory department personnel are very helpful. Willing to work with you on parts and repalcements. Overall, you have a great staff and a very nice dealership. Best of luck on all your future endevors."

"When I purchased my first of 4 bikes from Fort Thunder I was asked if I wanted the VIP program. Well, these deals for cars are normally a big waste of money, so I was skeptical. After they told me about the program, the cost and what it included....I figured I would give it a try. One of the big selling points for me was the move to the front of the line service. Well, almost two years later, and three additional VIPs, one for each bike, I am sold. This program also includes the important mid service interval oil changes. After two years and almost 15,000 miles on my '09 Ultra Classic, I have gotten my money out of the program. It is so nice to know that I can just pull in and "It's ALL taken care of". They check everything and if there's a problem...there won't be when they are done. I usually wait for the bike while they are doing the service and it gives me plenty of time to look around the store, parts, service, clothing and visit with the Fort Thunder staff. If you are on the fence about VIP...jump off. It is a no brainer. If you like to ride, get the VIP and you will be happy. "

"Let me start by saying, when it comes to the dealer of the century, Fort Thunder Harley Davidson is IT. There is no other way to say it. We just purchased our forth bike in a year and a half, three riders. My son was lucky enough to have two different bikes. I traded for our first bike my '06 Goldwing for an '09 Ultra Classic. I know what you must be thinking...a goldwing for an Ultra??? Hands down, yes. Now don't misunderstand me, the goldwing is a great bike. I just love my ultra a little more. Bike number two, an '09 883 Iron for my son. A year later, a '10 Dyna Wide Glide in trade for the Iron. Now let me tell you about bike number four. My wife has been riding an '08 goldwing trike. It would be fair to say she LOVED, yes past tense, her goldwing. After pondering for months, the urge finally hit just hard enough. In September we traded her trike, yes goldwing number 2, for a new '11 Triglide. It is fair to say it was not love at first ride but...after 200 hundred miles or so, the tide began to turn. I saw the biggest grin on her face through my mirror and I knew that she was bit. There were tears and some regret but that is gone now. One might ask why 4 bikes in 1 1/2 years. Why goldwing to Harley. I don't have to explain to those that ride Harleys but for those who don't, treat yourself. Now, that is the history now let me get to the reason for this entry. A few days after the trade, trike for trike, the trunk lock malfunctioned while my wife was showing it off to a friend at work. She went inside to call the Fort at about noon. They came to pick up the bike, took it back to their shop and returned with a CLEAN repaired bike before it was time to get off work. No other dealer can match that kind of service. I have purchased the VIP program on three of the bikes and will be returning to purchase it for the triglide. What is the VIP program? Pre-paid service. Is it a deal? Well, take a look at the service prices and do the math. For me, without a doubt. I have spent a little more time at Fort Thunder than maybe I should but their personal care, attention and service is beyond any expectations. We are always made to feel at home and the entire staff, really, I have not run into a single bad egg, are top quality. I talk about Fort Thunder a lot and I just cannot say enough about them. If you purchase anywhere else, you are making a mistake. I have and will always return to the Fort when it is time to buy a new ride. Like the CVO Street Glide that Candy is saving for me. "

Thunder HD The Sitch: Thought my 11 day Nirvana-Ride-2Max Trip to ... 70 th. Sturgis .... was vaporized. The CURE : FORT THUNDER HARLEY DAVIDSON .............. 2 Bikers were at the Station I coasted into, one googled on his Blackberry for a local HD Dealer - Ft.Thunder HD came up, .. Called the Service Desk,a cat named SHON, sent a cat named DALE, within 20 minutes, who picked me and my scooter up with his truck and box trailer .... hauled me to the FTHD shop, .... COURSE AT THIS POINT, I ENVISIONED SOME WORST CASE SCENARIOS, OUT OF TOWNER RUBE -AT MERCY OF THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP ...... LOOONG WAIT TO GET BIKE LOOKED AT, WAIT MY TURN FOR MECH. REPAIRS ... HUGE PARTS AND LABOR BILL .... etc. etc. any or all of which, WOULD PROBABLY SEND THE Texas B.O.A.B. limping back South to Houston. THE SERVICE DESK GUY "SHON" listened to my plight, heard my urgent need to get back on road to Sturgis, to catch up w/ my 3 Texas pals who went on ahead, to be at Buffalo Chip Campground on Monday am. .. and my BOAB spiel, ... then,........ a Miracle was performed. SHON, AARON, & OTHER CONTRIBUTING TECHS .... THREW OBMagic on the lift, diagnosed the prob, told me the Stator was fried, ... quoted a price to fix her up .....tt&l ......and I said, let's get er' done ......... The Service Team, led by SHON, got the scooter fixed up -road checked out, and put ME AND OL BLACK MAGIC BACK ON THE TRAIL TO SOUTH DAKOTA THAT SATURDAY EVENING .....!!!! Ft. "My husband and I attended your bike night for the first time this past Thursday. While walking around your beautiful dealership we met Candy in your sales department and had an absolute blast! "This past saturday, June 26, my wife, Margie & I were heading to the Little River Poker Run. Our ride for the day actually began at the Fort, we met there leaving her car, as fate would have it. We had different things to do in the morning. After meeting there and shortly visiting with a few employees it was time to head to Bass Pro Shops. We got on I-35 north at 4th street, leaned over to the inside lane and the bike promptly DIED. Luckily that stretch of Hwy has a very wide center "break down" lane. We coasted to a stop and tried to restart the bike, NO GO. I called your Service Dept and Mitch answered. I told him the details and our location and asked for a trailer back to the shop. With in 15 minutes 2 guys, sorry I didn't get their names, from service arrived and loaded up the bike and quickly had us right back where we started just a half hour earlier. Shawn, Mitch, Jesse and Jeremiah all came out to find out what had happened and to get our repairs underway. I thought the day's ride was over. Margie said, "Well at least we have a car here. Don't have to worry about transportation." Our bike was IMMEDIATELY taken to the service area. Margie and I went back inside to enjoy the day with the staff and the Fort itself. While we waited we talked with friends, shopped for anything and everything, enjoyed the live music and food and even played with all the animals from Little River Zoo, Margie having her picture taken while holding Merlin the Snake. A short while later the bike was fixed and we still had plenty of time the rest of the day. As most dealers go I would expect a few days for my bike to be worked in to the repair schedule. NOT AT THE FORT. It took less than an hour to have our problem repaired. The fuel line inside the gas tank had come lose. Even if we didn't have the VIP service I believe our bike would have recieved the same OUTSTANDING service. The customer relations have ALWAYS been outstanding. I cannot imagine a better place to go for service, motorclothes or parts, not to mention making a bike purchase. What could have been a terrible day actually turned out to be very enjoyable. "I broke down in Joplin Mo. on Sunday morning 05/30/2010 and could not find a harley dealer open within 200 miles. My son finally located your dealership on the internet and you were open on Sunday(Thank God!). I talked to Jeremiah in service and he said that he would wait at the shop until I arrived.I was 200 miles away and had to rent a truck to make the haul. "Mr Dodson, My name is Jim Mxxxxxx, a rider and the Senior Pastor of The Bridge in Mustang, Ok. We have a motorcycle ministry that operates out of our church and is a member of the COC. Our 1st chair David Hartman, Doc, was stricken with cancer several months ago and has had a tough battle. In June, Doc is facing a bone morrow transplant and our heart and prayers are strong in Faith. Doc was doing the harley guy thing and dropped in to brows and saw the Harley, blue and silver trike. Doc has not been able to ride due to his energy level and had thought about a trike but felt there was no way he could afford one. "I have to share my experience of today. I bought a 2010 Softtail Custom about 6 weeks ago. This morning, was stopping at a stop sign and I thought that the clutch cable broke. I limped the bike all the way from Ada to the Dealership. They looked at it and said that the mainshaft had broken on the bike. It has only 1800 miles on it. The first estimate was for about ten days in the shop. I was hanging around the shop for the festivities and ended up talking to Chris about the problem. He and his team got together and made the repairs happen. Everyone at the Dealership went that extra mile to make sure that I was able to ride the bike home today. You guys are great and I am supremely impressed with the can do attitude of everyone at your excellent establishment!"

"I want to give a BIG thank you to the salesman Mike who helped my boyfriend Rodney surprise me on Saturday 04/10/2010. Rodney bought me my first bike 2007 1200 custom sportster color is crimson and cream, whoo hoo! Rodney had Mike help him pull off the total surprise for me and I have to say that Mike is the guy. He did an AWESOME job. It went down like this: I was outside smoking a cigarette while waiting for my boyfriends bike to be serviced, so I started looking at the used bikes just for fun. A salesman name Ryan came over and I let him know real quick I was not there to buy just killing time but that I was going to go take a beginners course next month to learn to ride my own. All of a sudden this other salesman came over named Mike and he just took over and to be honest my first thought was "WOW how rude of him to do that" what if I was really there to buy a bike! So when Mike showed up I noticed Ryan just went back inside and Mike started showing me this 07 1200 custom sportster, so I just let him do his thing although I had also told him I was not there to buy. Well long story short Mike was there to help my boyfriend surprise me. He had bought that bike for me. I am still in total shock and continue to pinch myself to make sure I am not in this big dreamland or something. Guess what? I'm not dreaming, MY bike is sitting in the garage as I type this. Everyone at Fort Thunder made this a special day and treated me so special. "I was going to hand write a letter to the owner. But this is a better opportunity to tell EVERYONE how great my experience was. From the very start, I contacted Lynn in Sales. I was very frank with her explaining that I already had a great bike, and was merely interested in what was available. I told Lynn not to waste much of her time with my call, but if she had a few moments, I would appreciate what ever time she had. Of course I expected I would be on her mind for maybe 3 minutes. To my surprise, she followed up with a variety of options that fit my interests and check book. Within days, I had spoken with her at least a half a dozen times. She worked feverishly, and earned my business. So I drove from Lawton to find what appeared to be an amusement park environment. Lynn welcomed me with a hot cup of coffee and immediately took me on a tour! I was so impressed I would have bought anything! Once I made my selection, I was introduced to everyone. Surprisingly, all my questions were answered, and I was invited to ask more. The bike I purchased was my third in three years, so I was prepared for the inevitable chaos and beating by the finance people. It was SO easy. No beating. No chaos. No pressure. Because the bike had not been serviced yet, I had time to kill. Oddly I felt at home in the show room. After a few more cups of coffee and a cheese burger, one of the ladies in the parts area was kind enough to pull up the weather on her computer because I had a log drive home. As I nervously contemplated my drive home, I went to the service area, and saw at least four techs working with the urgency and precion of a NASCAR pit crew. When my trade was wheeled in, the gentlemen cleaning it had the foresight to remind me to remove my military decal off of it, and saved me tons of trouble later with my Chain of Command. Overall, I loved the trip. Lynn stayed with me the whole time! The Sales Mgmt. were genuinely interested in me, and I got a beautiful bike! Me and my wife came in needing some screws for the clutch cable housing that one had come loose and fallen out on my ride up to the city and the other one was loose and about to fall out. "Bike wouldn't maintain oil pressure, took to Fort Thunder service department on Saturday morning thinking it was something simple to fix, Jesse got my bike right in and called me later saying the cam bearings were shot and I was thinking my bike would be down until at least Monday evening. Late saturday afternoon Jesse called and said my bike was ready to ride, he showed me the old parts and explained in detail what had happened. With the extended warranty and the dealers loyalty card I payed less than $13.00 for the repairs(it does pay to shop at Fort Thunder), I am confident that no other HD dealer in the OKC area could have got my bike in and fixed in one day and give the service that was given by Fort Thunder. GREAT JOB TO JESSE AND THE MECHANIC(S) INVOLVED."

"I own a 06 V-Rod and was the unfortunate recipient of the almost unheard of problem of engine failure. When I got to your dealership the service guys ( Matt and Jermiah) immediately took the bike back to Jason who quickly determined that the engine was seriously sick ( no compression). Two days later Jerimah called with the diagnosis and a schedule of repair. Less than two weeks later he called back to say that the bike was repaired and the cost was per the estimate. "While riding through Moore on our was to Sioux City Iowa we discovered my newly installed tire from a shop in Texas was rubbing the inside of my fender which was cutting the sidewall. After talking with your service guys they discovered that it had also cut my turn signal wires. There was nearly a 2 week wait for service. You guys managed to squeeze us in fix all the problems and keep us as comfortable as possible while stranded. Just wanted to thanks the service guys and apparel people for letting us wonder around while stranded. They did great."

I am not sure what position he holds (I do not see him listed on your web site) but he has made an incredible impression on us and you I’m sure are grateful to have an employee of his caliper representing you and your dealership. My wife and I were returning from NY to our home in Arizona when we discovered the badly damaged rear rim on my FLHTCUI, a call was made to your dealership and Jesse took things from there. He was not only knowledgeable of what parts were needed, he handled everything in a most professional way, he gave assurance that the repair would be done and it would completed that day. He is a most pleasant person to speak with, and his pleasant way and professional way of dealing with our unfortunate break down made me feel so calm and comfortable that it seemed as though this breakdown was a just a distant memory. Truth is having a rear tire and rim fail the way mine did will be long remembered, the thought of what could really have happened is not easy to forget, but Jesse mad it all go away that day. He kept his word and the bike was repaired and we were on our way, his follow-up phone call to ask if we were satisfied with the service received put me at a loss for words, how can I ever express how I feel about the awesome service and pleasant time spent at your dealership. I know that I will never pass through Oklahoma City again without stopping in for a visit, thank you for the hospitality and service, Fort Thunder H-D is another wonderful memory to our road trip across the US. "On 19 May 2008, I was riding through OKC and was on I-44 in order to by-pass your fair city as I was on my way to pick-up 66 towards the Tulsa area. You see,I left the Denver area via the Texas panhandle to see some of Route 66 that I had not seen in your part of the country. I've been all over the west and 66 out there, but I wanted to ride the route through Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. I left Colorado on the 17th of May 08 and proceeded to Dalhart,Tx, then on to Elk City that weekend. I left Elk City and made it to OKC when the throttle cable snapped while passing thru. Well it was about noon, the temp and humidity was rising and I was able to pull over on I-44. I fiddled with the controls and yup-cable is FUBAR. So I had called AAA out of Colorado, who dispatched a tow truck to my location. It was a bad day, I was annoyed, had a headache, and since I am a 20 % disabled veteran that can't hear too well(hearing aids don't work well in the wind)-I was a little agitated. The tow vehicle arrives,and I see the driver in the cab and a guy appears from nowwhere. Well this guy turns out to be the ownder for FT HD, Robert Dodson. I asked him what was he doing out there and he said " I was driving by and it looked like you needed help". I said to myself, the Big Cheese (God) is watching out for me because what are the odds of this shyte happening ? Plus, I don't think Robert was trolling the interstate around OKC for broken down scoots to boost revenues. To make a long story short, I asked him once I got Charlene, my 99' Road King, to the dealership if he could expedite the service if possible. He made a call, got the scoot towed down the road and I was out of there by 1700 hours(5 pm) that day. Robert's wife, the service staff, and other folks were friendly and got me on my way. By the way, the repair bill for the R/R of the cable was under $95.00. All those events made my day considering I could of been in a rural area, could have had my bike a settin for a while, and spent more money elsewhere. Although it was kind of shytty day, it ended up good in the big scheme of things. Thanks to all at FT HD and if I wished your dealership was in the Denver area because I would recommend it. "Best in Oklahoma!!!What an awesome service department you have! Last saturday (Nov 11th) I had just completed riding in the "Veterans day" parade downtown and was heading out on a long ride with my friends for the remainder of the day. I ride an Electra Glide. As I began the cruise I noticed my left speaker went out. No big deal but since it was under warrenty and I was very close to that "other Harley Dealership" I rolled in to the service department and asked if they could help me swap out the speaker and get me on the road again. The service manager gave me "eleventeen" reasons why he could not help, and not one reason why he could. At that point I called your dealership. I spoke with "Niki" in service. I explained my situation and she said "bring the bike over and we'll get you fixed up and out of here as quick as we can". (Now that's service) I was extremely happy. True to form I was in/out and back on the road very quickly. As usual I ended up buying a piece of chrome while waiting (standard ops). A win win situation for all. As an added note...there have been 3 other occasions where the "other dealership" couldn't help me when I was in a pinch, however, Brad and Niki never even hesitated to offer assistance. "Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my dad who was recently down to visit my husband & I from Wisconsin...on his V-rod.(875 miles from his front dorr to mine!) My dad is 73 years old and is still riding!!! He's pretty cool. When he got down here he noticed that his front tire was "whipped-out" on one side. My husband called Brad at the shop and he made some suggestions and was able to fix it that next morning....How awesome is that??? We just wanted to say "THANK-YOU" for a wonderful team at the shop. My husband has also been in the shop a few times and have met with nothing but kindness, professionalism, humor, and wonderful service for his Road King. "Dear Robert & Stacie Dodson, I have been a customer in your store several times now. I have also had my bike in your shop several times. I am writing to thank you for your superior customer service every time that I have done business with you. I am a teacher, and we don't get much respect or paid that much. One thing that I have noticed is that your dealership doesn't overcharge or abuse the customers, and your are always friendly and courteous. I am extremely appreciative of your shop. This week, my bike started acting up on me. I was left stranded 5 times in the 100 degree heat and rather than telling me just to call a tow service, your service department manager, Brad Wardlaw, sent your trailer to pick up my bike that same day. Then, when the problem turned out to only be loose battry cables,I wasn't charged anything. This is not the first time your dealership has gone above and beyond the call of duty, though it is the first time it hasn't cost me anything other than feeling a bit embarrassed. I have dealt with other dealerships in the past, and have experienced nothing but high prices and cold interactions. They do not embody the Harley spirit. You and your dealership do. I am planning on buying another bike when my finances will ever allow, and I am definitely buying it from you. I am forwarding this on to Harley-Davidson customer service as well. "Dear Bryan HD, Thank you for your attention to Harley Riders from out of town. On Friday May 26 2006 left Minneapolis for the Iron Butt Run, 1500 miles in 24 hours. Made it to your area in 11 hours. My nighttrain developed a few problems (electrical). I called Hog road side and was towed after 1 hour and twenty mins. The driver was a biker and highly suggested your store. After the over night, I called your shop and was picked up. Your service manager got his tect's working as soon as I got there, dam good service, (replaced the regulator) clean the bike and had me on the road. I would like to thank you and your employee's for their great attitude and going out of their way to help. I did make it back to Minneapolis in 11 hours, so I did make the run in 22 hours, I enjoyed the ride, but got to meet some true Harley Riders, Thanks again Frank Anderson "

"I had visited other dealerships before I came to Bryan's HD. These other dealerships seemed uninterested in my business when I entered the store. At Bryan's HD, I was promptly met by Rex. Rex is a terrific and knowledgable salesman - I felt he went well out of his way to insure that I was well informed of the bike I was interested in as well as showing my family and I around the dealership - where we met several of the staff in their respective areas. "Everyone is always so friendly, even after the major purchase is complete. Only negative thing I can say is that the day our bike was purchased we left the dealership with not even enough gasoline in the tank to get us home (not very far).
